How corrections are handled
- Substantive factual errors are corrected as soon as they are identified.
- Corrections are clearly marked within the article, typically at the end, stating what was corrected and when.
- If an error significantly affects the understanding of an article, an editor’s note may be added.
- We do not remove published content unless there are compelling legal or ethical reasons to do so.
